Water Temp and Dissolved Oxygen Levels
Just as tides affect fish and fishing, so do water temperature and dissolved oxygen levels. The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program maintains environmental monitors which show in real time the dissolved oxygen and water temperature and the like of several Mobile Bay fishing spots, including Meaher Park on the Causeway, Weeks Bay and Middle Bay light. Check it out for the ultimate in scientific fishfinding
